Raised in Greenwood, South Carolina, Glen attended Greenwood High School, where his passion for sports shone brightly. During this time, he became a coach, touching the lives of countless young athletes through his dedication to baseball and football. His proudest moment as a coach was winning a baseball National Championship in 2003. He was in the midst of transitioning jobs, with plans to start coaching travel baseball teams out of Greenville, South Carolina.
A man of Christian faith, Glen's belief in God was the cornerstone of his existence. He impacted hundreds of people of all ages with his gift for speaking. Glen had a knack for making people laugh with his quick wit. He enjoyed golfing, was an avid Clemson fan, and loved watching sports of all kinds.
